WBC #2 lightweight Dante “Crazy” Jardon (30-5, 23 KOs) scored an exciting tenth round stoppage of Nery “Pantera” Saguilan (37-7-1, 17 KOs) on Saturday night at the Arena Coliseo in Mexico City. In the tenth round, both fighters hit the canvas, Jardon went down first, but recovered and sent Saguilan to the canvas twice. The bout was halted at 2:58 of round ten. The bout was for the WBC Lightweight International silver title.
In the co-feature, super lightweight Luis Vidales (10-4, 5 KOs) won an eight round majority decision over Shoki Sakai (21-6, 13 KOs). Scores were 77-75, 76-76 and 78-74.
