Eight left bare knuckled-event will wow enthusiasts and fans alike as the World Lethwei Championship has started its onslaught to a full 2020-2021 calendar across Myanmar, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, and the United States of America.
WLC earlier scheduled the first fight of 2020 on April 3 of this year however was postponed due to the COVID crisis. It was reset on August 28 at an undisclosed location in Cambodia dubbed as WLC 12: Hideout Battle.
In the aforementioned event, France’s Souris Manfredi made history as she won over Spain’s Maisha Katz, as the Women’s Bantamweight World Lethwei Champion, the first female lethwei world champion at the World Lethwei Championship. Six other weight categories were featured in this fight.
WLC Chairman Mr. Zay Thiha said the organization will continue to develop and grow the Lethwei infrastructure not only in Asia but globally as well.

November 27, 2020 at Mandalay, Myanmar
January 8, 2021 at Bangkok, Thailand
March 12, 2021 at Yangon, Myanmar
May 1, 2021 at Hpa An, Myanmar
August 6, 2021 at Tokyo, Japan
November 5, 2021 at TBA, USA
December 3, 2021 at Mandalay, Myanmar
