Raoni Barcelos has a new opponent for UFC 237 on May 11.

With Said Nurmagomedov out of the card due to undisclosed reasons, the promotion signed Peruvian bantamweight Carlos Huachin to fight Barcelos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. MMA Fighting confirmed the news following a report by El Comercio.

Huachin (10-3-2) fought for the last time on March 29, stopping Marcelino Cavalcante in the first round to capture the Inka FC bantamweight title. The Peruvian talent makes his first walk to the Octagon riding a seven-fight unbeaten streak that includes six finishes and one draw.

Barcelos (13-1) made his UFC debut as a featherweight in July 2018, knocking out Kurt Holobaughin the third round and pocketing extra $50,000 for the best fight of the night in Boise. Four months later, Barcelos moved back down to 135 pounds and submitted Chris Gutierrez in Las Vegas.

UFC 237 will take place at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro and air live on pay-per-view. In the main event, Rose Namajunas puts her strawweight title on the line against Jessica Andrade.
