Hard working, tough as nails brawler gets his chance on the world stage,” says Tomek Turkowski, manager of Norbert “Noras” Dabrowski (19-5, 7 KO), who accepted a clash against #1 WBC rated Eleider Alvarez (20-0, 10 KO) at the Casino de Montreal on December 10. Alvarez- Dabrowski will be the 50th event presented by GYM at the Montreal Casino. “Alvarez is a world-class fighter, but there’s only winning on my mind. Hard work doesn’t scare me. No matter what the outcome, fans will see 100 percent effort, the best I can be in Montral” – said Dabrowski, when talking to polsatsport.pl.

Dabrowski was on the Alvarez radar for some time, but he got the final nod after beating previously undefeated, talented Marek Matyja (11-0) on the Underground Boxing Show, 400 feet below the surface in the Wieliczka salt mine on October 22. “When Dabrowski lost to Muraszkin (June 2015), for some people he was done. He never quit, made changes and he’s back big time,” said Turkowski.

“It was an easy decision to make. I always wanted this kind of tremendous opportunity. Time to make best off it. This could be my only such chance in life,” added Dabrowski.
