Check out the lineup for the Madison Square Garden mega-show known as UFC 205, set for Saturday, November 12th.
Is UFC 205 the greatest event (on-paper) in UFC history? You be the judge, because this is an astonishing lineup that’s been put together. There are THREE title fights set for the UFC’s Madison Square Garden debut, including a champion vs. champion matchup. Lightweight titleholder Eddie Alvarez will put his belt on the line against featherweight king Conor McGregor. The co-main event will see welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defend against Stephen Thompson. Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will square off against Karolina Kowalkiewicz, with the belt guaranteed to reside in Poland regardless of outcome.
Rounding out this six-fight, four-hour PPV main card are former middleweight champion Chris Weidman against Yoel Romero, surging welterweight contender Donald Cerrone versus Kelvin Gastelum, and former women’s bantamweight champ Miesha Tate against Raquel Pennington.
That not enough for you? The PRELIMINARY CARD has Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens, Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Michael Johnson, and Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy on FS1. On Fight Pass, Jim Miller welcomes Thiago Alves to the lightweight division in the feature bout.
