Demure out of the ring, spitfire punching “Taz” in it, Ibeth “Roca” Zamora, is applying the finishing touches to her preparations, to defend her WBC female light flyweight crown for the 8th time on Saturday 26th in November, Torreon, Coahuila.
The intrepid boxer from San Cristobal Huichotitlan, Estado de Mexico, gained the recognition of all fans after defeating the hitherto unbeaten American, Ava Knight, who up to that point was known as the “Mexican Killer.”
Ibeth has managed to defeat an array of other great fighters during her career, among them: Ana Fernandez in Panamá; Naoko Shibata in Japan, Esmeralda “Joya“ Moreno, Anabel Ortíz, Maricela Quintero and Yessica “Kika” Chávez.
This time it`s Roca`s green and gold belt on line, as she faces Serbian, Nina Stojanovic in the main event of the card presented by Promociones del Pueblo, with the support of Cerveza Victoria and Playboy México. The card will arrive to all Mexican homes through Televisa.
