SOUTHPAW Akinori Watanabe of Japan took away the Orient and Pacific
Boxing Federation (OPBF) super welterweight title from defending
champion Jung Kyoung Lee of South Korea last Aug. 11 at the Grand Hilton
Hotel in Seoul, South Korea.The 34-year old Watanabe registered his 38th
win and the 32th knockout against 7 loss and 1 draw. Lee, on the other hand
suffered his 3rd loss against 7 wins and 1 draw.Watanabe, nicknamed
“Ushiwakamaru Akibei” earlier won OPBF welterweight and vacant PABA
super welterweight titles in 2013.Meanwhile, Cameroonian Tae San Kil of
South Korea TKO’d Jin Hyuk Kim of the 4th round of the super
middleweight division.The promoter is Yeo Jeong Kim of TAP Management
