By Carlos Costa

More active and aggressive former unified super lightweight world champion 🇺🇸🇵🇷 Danny “Swift” Garcia (36-2, 21 KO’s) outclassed and widely outpointed world-ranked Ukrainian southpaw 🇺🇦 Ivan Redkach (23-5-1, 18 KO’s) to win the 12-rounder WBC Welterweight Eliminator today @ the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. 👍👍

Scores were 117-111 (twice) and 118-110 in favor of the 31-year-old Philadelphian of proud Puerto Rican decent ⭐️

Garcia is now the mandatory challenger to the WBC welterweight crown, currently held by unbeaten 30-year-old Texan Errol Spence Jr (26-0, 21 KO’s), though “Swift” would not mind challenging 40-year-old Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 38 KO’s) for the WBA belt 🥊

The third man in the ring was award-winning New York referee 🇺🇸🇵🇷Benjy Esteves Jr.💥💥
