Mexican slugger WBO Super Bantamweight World Champion Emanuel Navarrete (30-1, 26 KO’s) of Zanfer Boxing and hard-hitting world-ranked Filipino challenger Jeo “Santino” Santisima (19-2, 16 KO’s) of the ALA Gym faced off friendly towards each other during the presscon ahead of their 12-rounder world-title saga this Saturday, February 22, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The exciting Navarrete vs Santisima clash is one of the featured PPV bouts for the Top Rank/TGB blockbuster card headlined by the year’s rematch of big unbeaten warriors Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KO’s) and Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KO’s) for the WBC Heavyweight World Title; and the stage for Navarrete and Santino could not be hotter than this.
Packing enormous, lethal power in their punches, both Emanuel Navarrete, 25, and Jeo Santisima, 23, are in thrilling rumble, not likely to make it the distance.
Navarrete — who during the presscon wore sun glasses — owes a fearsome 84% knockout ratio, while the cool Santino rocks with a high number of 77%, both men in possession of crushing weapons.
Yes to the above. Their straight rights and left hooks are sharp, quick. That has been proven in battle. Landing on target, their blows are devastating, commanding enough TNT to propel the opponent to the blue canvas.
In addition, both men are orthodox, and they are about the same height. Both are smart fighters who set up their punches; and, so importantly, they so intensively want a big win on Saturday. Electrified fight fans just can’t wait for the first bell.
Obviously, betting odds in Vegas are in favor on the more-known Mexican nicknamed “Vaquero” (Cowboy), however real hardcore boxing fans are acquainted with the speed, skills and damaging capabilities of the laser-focused “Santino” who lives and trains in the Philippine’s Queen City of the South, Cebu.
Will the more-experienced Mexican “Vaquero” be able to handle the talent of the Filipino fighter for a successful 5th world title defense? Or will the impressive well-trained Santino win the most important fight of his life for the glory and honor of a world title?
The awesome event will aired live worldwide on ESPN+. In the USA on FOX PPV. In Mexico on TV Azteca 7. In Panama on RPC Canal 4 Lo Mejor del Boxeo.
Here in the Philippines fans can watch the exciting card commercial-free on Sky Cable PPV this Sunday, February 23, at 9 AM for 299 pesos.
Enjoy the cool show..!! Good luck to all. May the Best Man Win..!!!
