THE Philippine Boxing Promoters and Managers Association [PBPMA] is planning to give again free rice to the boxers and trainers next week in Manila and the National Capital Region.
PBPMA president Dante Almario said that they might give at least 10 kilos of rice per boxers and trainers.
“Kawawa na kasi sila sobra na tagal no income kaya nag fundraising kami,” said PBPMA officials
Almario said at least 300 people will receive from the amount of at least P100,000.

Among those also joining are Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde, Brico Santig, Jun Sarreal, Orlando Barcelongo, Jun Gandeza, Jhonny Elorde, Gerry Penalosa, Gerry Balmes, Jhonny Monis, Art Monis, Cal Williams, Dino Oliveti, Joven Jemenez, Yolly Alfante, Darwin Miller Dep-ay and represenrative from Naris Singwangcha Foundation.
The group will again already distribute another pack of rice worth 10 kilos each this Saturday at 2:30 pm at Elorde Sucat Paranaque Gym
The boxers and trainers already received SAP from the government through the Games and Amusement Board.
“Marami na din nabigyan sa kanila also thru the help of GAB. Pero sa tagal na ng Covid, gutom na mga boxers at trainers,” said Almario.
