MAGSAYO GETS SPLIT DECISION WIN IN LA

Los Angeles, California-Filipino pugilist Mark Magnifico Magsayo showed yet another great slugfest against Mexican Rigoberto Hermosillo as the two went on a ten-round bout wit Magsayo’s hands raised in a split decision, 100-90,94-96,96-94.

Magsayo’s perfect record stands at 21 wins, 14 of which came by knockouts and six unanimous decisions. This is Magnifico’s 3rd fight in the United States after his first win for the International Boxing Federation Youth Feather title against Rafael Reyes in 2015, and another win for the World Boxing Organisation International Feather title against Ramiro Robles in 2016. His Singapore fight in April of 2019 has shown yet another knockout win against Erick Deztroyer.

Meanwhile, Hermosillo was handed his 4th defeat in his 7-year career. The Mexican came off a 3-lose streak before his fight against Magsayo, all fights have been in the United States.
