Mama now 100% ready

DAVAO CITY – Undefeated Jayson “Smasher” Mama of Gen. Santos City is now 100% ready to fight against International Boxing Federation World flyweight champion Moruti “Babyface” Mthalabe of South Africa on Dec. 20 at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa.

“Ready na sir 100% na,” said Mama in Facebook message.

The undefeated Mama (15W-0L, 8KOs) said that he is still 120 lbs. or eight lbs. more.

“Mga 120 lbs. pa ko karon” he said.

Mama is expected to leave on Dec. 15 with trainer Ronerex Dalut and Jefti Tinamesan.

“I’m ready to war,” said Mama.

Mthalane (39W-2L-0D, 26KOs), on the other hand successfully made his third title defense with a TKO over Akira Yaegashi of Japan in the 9th round last Dec. 23, 2019, at Arena in Yokohama, Japan.
