Taylor defeats Jonas

Undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor (18-0, 6 KOs), successfully defended her titles by defeating England’s Natasha Jonas (9-2-1, 7 KOs), in a tough and thrilling ten-round unanimous decision contest.

It was a special attraction, at the Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom.
The fight was very competitive and complicated for the champion, who had to dig deep in the championship rounds.

The judges saw Taylor win with close scores of 96-94, 96-95 and 96-95.
