It looks like Glover Teixeira will be making his return to the cage in January. The Brazilian will face off with British striker Jimi Manuwa at UFC 208 on January 21st in California, according to FloCombat. The bout is not yet official.
Teixeira (25-5, 8-3 UFC) was knocked out by Anthony Johnson in just 13 seconds at UFC 202 in August. That ended a three-fight win streak, which came over the likes of Rashad Evans and Ovince Saint Preux.
Manuwa (16-2, 5-2 UFC) picked up a big win in his last outing, knocking out OSP in the second round of their UFC 204 bout. The KO earned him a performance bonus, the second of his career. He was also knocked out by Johnson in his bout before that.
UFC 208 goes down in the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA on January 21st. A headliner for the card has not been decided upon as of yet, but this bout will likely be on the main card.
