Philippine legend Manny Pacquiao will challenge the welterweight champion of the World Boxing Council Errol Spence Jr, on Saturday, August 21, to be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Manny is training with his coach and member of the hall of fame, Freddie Roach, at the “Wild Card Boxing Club” gym in Hollywood, California.

Despite being 42 years of age, Pacquiao is a consummate professional in every sense of the word, fights for passion and no one doubts that he will give his supreme best against his younger opponent.

Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39KOs) has not stepped into the ring since July 2019, when he defeated Keith Thurman by a 12-round split decision.

Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) will attempt his second unified WBC / IBF title defense and sixth of the IBF belt he won, with an 11th round knockout victory over Kell Brook in May 2017 in Sheffield, England.

Spence added the WBC belt to his collection following a close decision victory over Shawn Porter in a thrilling September 2019 unification fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Spence is coming off a 12-round unanimous decision victory over former two-division champion Danny Garcia last December at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The card that is promoted by Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series, will be televised on FOX PPV.
