Unified lightweight champion Irish sensational Katie Taylor will display her crowns when she faces American Jennifer Han this Saturday at Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK.
Katie Taylor is one of the best fighters in the world, and this Saturday she aims to confirm her reign against a difficult rival.
Taylor dominated amateur boxing and is doing the same professionally, posting an 18-0 record with 6 knockouts. In her last match last May, she dominated England’s Nathasa Jonas, by unanimous decision.
In Han’s case, she was a world featherweight champion and has now moved up the divisions to meet new challenges
.She has not lost since March 2014, adding eight wins in a row. Han has a record of 18 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 1 knockout.
This Friday both warriors passed the official weigh-in of the evening. Taylor logged 134.75 pounds, while Han stopped the scale at 134.25 pounds.
The fight, which is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, will be televised on DAZN.
