WBA #14 lightweight George Kambosos Jr (11-0, 6 KOs) clearly outscored WBA #12 Brendon Ogilivie (17-2-1, 9 KOs) over twelve rounds at Luna Park, Sydney, NSW, Australia on Friday by scores of 116-112, 119-110, 118-110. Kambosos controlled the contest in most of the rounds, outworking southpaw Ogilvie. Kambosos had Ogilvie in trouble in round two but he survived to hear the bell.
2012 London light heavyweight Olympian Damien Hooper (12-1-0) outscored Nader Hamdan (44-12-1) over eight rounds. Scores at the conclusion 80-72,80-72,80-72.. Hooper defeated IBF #6, WBO #6 Marcus Browne at the London 2012 Olympics.
