American D’Mitrius Ballard (21-0-1, 13 KO’s) can’t wait to collide against Mexican former world champ Jaime Munguía (38-0, 30 KO’s), on Feb 19, at a venue TBA, live on DAZN.
Munguía and Ballard were scheduled to rumble last April 23 in El Paso, Texas.
But the war was called off after Ballard injured an elbow during training.
This time around he says that he is more than OK, ready to throw bombs to the popular Munguia.
The 28-year-old Ballard had an outstanding amateur career, claiming several national championships.
Since 2013, the native of Temple Hills, Maryland, has risen through the world rankings, fighting opponents such as Victor Fonseca, Yamaguchi Falcao and Alan Campa.
Will Ballard be able to defeat the undefeated Jaime Munguia, a protégé od Oscar de la Hoya and one of the hottest stars in Mexican boxing?
May the Best Man Win!
