Filipino 108-pound slugger “The Silent Assassin” Miel Fajardo (7-1-2, 6 KO”s) of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, will wage his 4th battle outside of his beloved Philippines when he engages in combat undefeated world-ranked Argentina warrior “El Avión” Agustín Mauro Gauto (17-0 12 KO’s) in an exciting mission set for Saturday, March 5 in “The City of Gold,” Dubai, U.A.E.

The Gauto vs Fajardo 8-rounder is part of the Dubai show that will see the rumored return to boxing of popular former Argentina champ René “El Chino” Maidana, the action fighter who waged heck of fights against Floyd “Money” Mayweather years ago.

The Dubai clash will be the Filipino’s fourth rumble away from his homeland. His prior 3 fights outside the Philippines have all been wins, two of them by way of knockout. Will his coming war be also another stoppage win?

Without a doubt, a shinning victory over the triple world-ranked Gauto will open golden doors for the heavy-handed, coming-forward 22-year-old Miel Fajardo, who has been a pro fighter for 5 years.

However, the unbeaten 24-year-old Agustín Mauro Gauto from the great land of Messi and Maradona, is a smiling tough warrior who has already conquered various regional titles, including South American champ, as well as International and Latino Champion.

In addition, “El Avión” Agustín Mauro Gauto is currently ranked as WBO #3, WBA #7 and IBF #4 with his handlers interested in to getting him into a world title fight within this year, wanting the clash against Fajardo to be nothing more than a keep-busy fight, a sort of stepping stone thing intended to help achieve other more rewarding things.

Will that be? Or will Gauto handler’s plan backfire horribly, turning into a nightmare, happening the total opposite?

One think is highly likely though: their fight might not make the distance.

Giving the destructive power that both young glory-hungry fighters pack in their blows, fans might witness a knockout.

The Pinoy has claimed 6 of his 7 wins by way of KO. While for the Argentinian, 12 out 17 victories have been vicious scalps that unfolded before the final bell. So, it is quite possible that one of them might stop the other, right?

But who will stop who?

The Agustín Mauro Gauto vs Miel Fajardo non-title, eight-rounder rumble in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is promoted by Legacy Sports Management, the German boxing promotion company based in Düsseldorf.

May the Best Man Win!
