Popular Mexican-American lightweight star Ryan “Kingry” Garcia (22-0, 18 KO’s) floored and dominated retrieving, back-pedaling Emmanuel Tagoe (32-2, 15 KO’s) of Ghana en route to a complete shut out 12-round unanimous decision win tonight, April 9, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, live on DAZN.
A Los Angeles-native, the 23-year old Ryan Garcia knocked down Tagoe, re-setting the African boxer into survival mode for the rest of the one-sided contest.
After the fight, Ryan posed with his team headed by his promoter Oscar de la Hoya, prompting fans to ponder who should “Kingry” fight next?
“I’m not going to call anyone out. The one I have to fight, I’ll fight,” said Garcia during DAZN’s post-fight interview.
With “Tank” defending against Rolly Romero on May 28 in New York, Kambosos Unifying against Haney June 5 in Melbourne, Loma battling for his Homeland Ukraine and Teofimo still out, what elite 135-pounder would you want to see “Kingry” against next?
No doubt that Ryan against “Tank” or against Kambosos would be a thrilling blockbuster. Who would you prefer?
