Nanae Suzuki and Yuko Kuroki headline 5-championship card in Japan

According to the agenda of the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC), next Thursday, September 1 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, there will be a show of pure 100% female boxing called “Queens Crest 2022” under the promotion of Dangan Aoki.

It will be for the presentation of a total of five championships, 2 world crown, 2 regional titles, and 1 for a Japan National title.

In a 10-round battle, fans will see a hot fight for the atomweight world championship endorsed by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) between two Japanese women.

The monarch and local Nanae Suzuki (11-4-1, 1KO, 30 years old from the Shu Boxing Gym in Tokyo) will defend against former WBC minimum world champion from the island of Kyushu, the left-handed Yuko Kuroki (19-7-2, 9KOs, 31 years old from the Yuko Fitness Club of Fukuoka City.

For the aggressive champion Nanae Suzuki, it will be the first defense of her title, which she conquered in February 2020 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo by defeating Mika Iwakawa by points.

In the 10-round co-main event, fans can be ready for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) atomweight crown between two Japanese women.

The champion and local Ayaka Miyao (21-5-1, 6KOs, 38 years old who belongs to the Watanabe Tokyo Boxing Gym) will face challenging former World Boxing Organization (WBO) atom world monarch from Hyogo province, switch-hitting Mika Iwakawa (10-6-1, 3KOs, 39 years old from the Himeji Kinoshita Boxing Gym).

For Ayaka Miyao, it will be the first defense of her IBF atom step, which she obtained in February 2020, by defeating Japan’s Mika Iwakawa for a vacant title.

In an 8-round bout for a vacant WBC Affiliated OPBF atomweight regional belt between two top ranked Japanese women, local #2IBF, #2WBA, #5WBC, southpaw Rie Matsuda (4-1-1, 1KO, 28 years old (who belongs to Team 10 Count Boxing Gym in Tokyo) will fight with #1 IBF world ranked Kaori Nagai (6-4-3, 2KOs), 32 years old from the Shinsei Boxing Gym, who hails from the city of Kobe in Hyogo province.

In an 8-round bout for the vacant WBO-Asia Pacific regional atomweight title, two undefeated female fighters from Japan will see action:

Local Honoka Kano (4-0-2, 2KOs, 27, of Setagaya Okura Boxing Gym) is going to exchange blows with the visitor from the city of Kobe, the left-handed Sumire Yamanaka (5-0, 1KO, 20 years old who belongs to the Shinsei Boxing Gym), who is the younger sister of the former minimumweight world champion Ryuya Yamanaka.

Finally, In a 6-round fight for the vacant Japanese flyweight title, the local former Japanese amateur champion Mizuki Hiruta (2-0, 0 KO’s, 26 years from the Misako Boxing Gym in Tokyo) will battle visitor from the city of Kobe, lundefeated Hinami Yanai (2-0/l, 1KO, 24 years old and belongs to Shinsei Boxing Gym).
