After his sensational Round 8 Knockout Win over Previously unbeaten Stephen Fulton July 25 in Tokyo, “The Monster” Wants to battle Filipino WBA/IBF Super Bantamweight Champ Marlon Tapales for the UNDISPUTED 122 strap before the year’s end.

Lots of Filipino boxing fans were hoping for the thrilling Naoya Inoue (25-0, 22 KO’s), to defend against former champ “Quadro Alas” John Riel Casimero, but promoters and organizations have sided with Tapales (37-3, 19 KO’s), due to the compelling reason that the Lanao del Norte warrior owes two world title belts.

If talented ones as Nonito, Gaballo, Dasmarinas, Fulton last night, and so many more have been stopped, unable to handle Inoue’s damaging, lethal power and blinding speed, could Marlos Tapales do?

Could Tapales be the one to halt Naoya’s express train? What do you think?

Still, in the mind of so many fans, the one and only man with the experience, power and skills to stand any chance against Naoya Inoue is named John Riel Casimero.

To so many, the Ormocano “Quadro Alas” is probably the most dangerous challenger that Naoya could find, even more dangerous and fearsome than the 2-belt world champion Tapales. Agree with that?

“The Monster” was absolutely electrifying Tuesday night at the Ariake Sports Arena in Tokyo, displaying an elegant, shining boxing, enriched with the superior technique, slick moves and power that overwhelmed the now former champ from Philadelphia, who tasted bitter defeat for the very first time in his pro boxing career.

Naoya’s’s fantastic jab, combined with fast ‘n furious attacks in combinations that included left uppercuts, right hooks and overheads, displayed the Japanese excellency as an aggressive, yet fantastically tactical fighter, a man very difficult to deal with.

Inoue’s fast and thrilling boxing style hugely entertained fans world-wide in a broadcast of Showtime and ESPN+, watched live for a very large audience that was not disappointed.

After his super entertaining performance Tuesday night, can fans consider the 30-year-old Naoya Inoue as a top boxer in boxing’s pound4pound list?

As Naoya Inoue continues to thrill fans around the world, we can safely say that the Sky is the Limit for the “Monster,” one of the most exciting fighters in the world today.
