BETERBIEV OR
Let’s talk about it. Not many fans believe that we could see Artur Beterbiev being knocked out by WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol on October 12 to become UNDISPUTED.
But many think that Beterbiev has the power and aggressiveness needed to put the slick Bivol to sleep.
HOW can fans imagine Bivol damaging IBF/WBC/WBO King Beterbiev when in 12 round fights he was not able to drop knockdown less strong fighters such as Lyndon Arthur, Zurdo Ramirez, Canelo, Craig Richards nor Joe Smith???
IF Bivol couldn’t deck any of those boxers, how can we imagine that he could drop that Russian oak tree named Beterbiev?
TO stop an opponent you have to be really aggressive, come-forward, drop power bombs while taking risks of counter, right?
IS Bivol that kind of fighter?
To many boxing fans here in Asia and elsewhere, it is not realistic to think that Bivol will KO Beterbiev. The other way around yes.
Logic does not tells us that Bivol will be the one who will come forward at Beterbiev. He will try to out-smart and box Beterbiev from a safe distance, wanting to out-maneuver that beast.
COULD it be boring Bivol boxing as a koneho aka Mayweather while Beterbiev pursuing him the whole night.
WELL, Bivol would not care if it would be boring as long as he reaches the final bell
FANS could fall asleep? Sure. Would that matter? Of course no.
THAT is precisely why tons of boxing aficionados want the more exciting, more thrilling Beterbiev to land hands in the early going, so as to make the clash not only more entertaining but also more likely to end by stoppage.
Hermanos, Beterbiev will come at Bivol while Bivol will box from a distance to avoid getting clipped. That you can bet.
BUT who will succeed?
For me, Beterbiev. Because I do not Bivol’s hit-and-run tactic can world with a bear so strong and damaging as Beterbiev.
Beterbiev is a huge power puncher while Bivol is a skilled boxer … who has more chances to end up on the Saudi Arabian canvas?
SIMPLE question: Dmitry Bivol stopping a bear as Artur Beterbiev when he couldn’t knock out smaller Canelo who is not even a light heavyweight?
To many fans Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs) does NOT pack the power nor the fighting style to put Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) down on the Riyadh mat.
AND what do you think? May the Best Man Win!!! #fightnewsasia#bivolbeterbiev#Undisputed#lightheavyweight
