John Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero of Ormoc City stopped Saul “The Beast” Sanchez of USA by a technical knockout in the 1st round, today October 13, Sunday, at the Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Japan.
The 35-year-old Casimero first knocked Sanchez down in the early round but the Mexican immediately stood up.
Casimero landed countless punches to Sanchez that sent down on his back for the second knockdown.
The fight resumed with Casimero again throwing left and right punches that forced Sanchez to hang on to the body of Casimero.
They were separated by the referee. But when Casimero again hit Sachez with his stinging right and left with no answer it was when the referee stopped the fight.
Casimero then made a one handed exercise before going to Sanchez’ corner.
