Get the full fight card here for this Friday’s Glory 37, headlined by Jason Wilnis vs. Israel Adesanya and Robin van Roosmalen vs. Matt Embree.
On Friday night, January 20, Glory kicks off 2017 with their first big kickboxing event of the year. Glory 37 is live from Los Angeles and will be headlined by a pair of world title fights. The show starts with the Superfight Series which airs on UFC Fight Pass at 10:30 p.m. ET. That is followed by the main Glory 37 card live on ESPN3 at 1:00 a.m. ET.
The featured fights on the night are a pair of world title fights – both first time defenses for new champions. Headlining is Middleweight champion Jason Wilnis, fresh off his upset victory over Simon Marcus. He takes on the dangerous Israel Adesanya in a very tough test for the new champ. On the Superfight Series, the headliner sees action from Robin van Roosmalen, the new Glory Featherweight champion and first ever Glory two-division champion, as he defends against KO artist Matt Embree.
Also featured on the card is the latest from MMA veteran Guto Inocente – he’s a perfect 3-0 in Glory and looks to keep his impressive rise up the Glory ranks going. There’s also a Welterweight tournament featuring former title challenger Yoann Kongolo and Karim Benmansour, plus fights from Giga Chikadze and former Bellator champion Zoila Frausto among others.
