Heavyweights Fabricio Werdum and Ben Rothwell are slated to meet on the same night champion Stipe Miocic will rematch Junior dos Santos, as Combate reported the fight will pose as the co-main event for UFC 211.
Former champion, Fabricio Werdum (21-6-1) bounced back from his first round KO loss to Stipe Miocic, which cost him the heavyweight belt, with a unanimous decision win in a rematch over Travis Browne back in September 2016. Before the Miocic loss, Werdum was on a six-fight win streak, with victories over names such as Cain Velasquez, Mark Hunt, and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Away from the Octagon ever since a unanimous decision loss to Dos Santos back in April 2016, Rothwell (36-10) was on a four-fight winning streak before the loss, having defeated notable names like Josh Barnett, Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem.
The May 13th card on Dallas will be headlined by the rematch for the UFC heavyweight title between champion Stipe Miocic and the last man to defeat him, Junior dos Santos.
