ALA Promotions’ Raul “Vulcan” Yu is now 100 percent ready to fight Jade Bornea of Sanman-Amoy Stable for their IBF Youth super flyweight championship on February 26 at 5 p.m. at the Lagao Gym in General Santos City.
“Yes, I’m now ready to explode against Bornea,” said Yu in a text message.
Yu and his trainer Robert Eturma will arrived on February 24 according to ALA Stable chief trainer Edito Villamor.
“Amateur style si Jade Bornea. Maayo ug lihok ug stylish boxer. Pero naa siya mga weaknesses nga nakita nila Robert ug Raul nga angay nga maka guba sa iyang pagka-stylish,” (Jade Bornea has an amateur style. Good movement and a stylish boxer. But he has weaknesses which Robert and Raul found out which could break his stylish style.) bared Villamor.
The 10-round title fight is the main event of the “Laban Pinoy 3: Rise of Champions” boxing card by the Sanman Promotions and Solar Sports.
“Nindot ni ang ilang duwa. Makalingaw ni kung si Jade Bornea mohatag ug lingaw sa mga boxing fans sa Gensan,” (This fight is a nice one. It will really be entertaining if Jade Bornea will also entertain the boxing fans of Gensan),” said Villamor.
The 21-year old Bornea, a native of Arakan, North Cotabato is still undefeated with six straight wins and four knockouts while Yu is toting 9 wins, 1 loss, 2 draws and 8 knockouts.
