We have an MMA doubleheader this weekend. Sunday night will be UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Browne in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, but on Saturday, February 18th, the great Fedor Emelianenko makes his Bellator MMA debut. Fedor will fight UFC veteran Matt Mitrionein the Bellator 172 main event in San Jose, California.
Also on this card is a good lightweight co-feature, as Josh Thomson battles Patricky Pitbull. Lest we forget that Josh Koscheck is finally making his Bellator debut, as the former UFC welterweight contender is set to fight Mauricio Alonso to open up the main card.
Here’s what fans can look forward to on Saturday, with a reminder that the event is tape-delayed for American west coast viewers … even though the card is in California.
