A pair of featherweights has been added to the upcoming UFC on Fox 24 card as UFC Tonight reported veteran Jeremy Stephens will take on undefeated prospect, Renato Moicano.

Jeremy Stephens (25-13) has been going through an inconsistent stretch, without a win streak since 2013/2014. In his last outing, Frankie Edgar bested him by unanimous decision. Before that, he scored an upset unanimous decision over former bantamweight champion, Renan Barao. He also lost to Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira, and Cub Swanson in his last six matches, having defeated only Barao and Dennis Bermudez.

The rising Renato Moicano (10-0-1) has only fought twice in the Octagon, submitting Tom Niinimaki in his debut, back in 2014, and edging out a split decision over Zubaira Tukhugov in May 2016. He was scheduled to fight Mike De La Torre in September but had to withdraw due to injury.

UFC on Fox 24 takes place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 15. Former bantamweight champion Renan Barao and Doo Ho Choi was linked to this event as the night’s headliner, but the bout was removed from the card. As of now, the card still lacks a main event.
