The UFC 210 pay-per-view main card is complete, following the recent announcement of Cynthia Calvillo vs. Pearl Gonzalez.
Strawweight prospect Cynthia Calvillo unexpectedly found herself on the main card of UFC 209 just two weeks ago, and now she’ll be on the main card of UFC 210 in April. During the UFC Fight Night: Anderson vs. Manuwa broadcast, the promotion confirmed that Calvillo would take on newcomer Pearl Gonzalez on April 8th in Buffalo, New York.
Calvillo (4-0) made her professional debut last August, following an impressive 5-1 amateur record. The Team Alpha Male talent took on Amanda Cooper at UFC 209, and won by rear-naked choke in the opening round. Gonzalez (6-1) has a notable win over UFC veteran Cortney Casey, which won her the XFC women’s flyweight title. The story behind Casey’s unsuccessful appeal of that loss is definitely a wild one. Otherwise, Gonzalez’s last fight was a submission win over Katie Casimir last April.
With Calvillo vs. Gonzalez now official, UFC 210’s bout order is set, with thirteen total fights from the prelims to the main event. Here’s the full fight card, which is topped by a light heavyweight title rematch between champion Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson:
