Gegard Mousasi vs. Thiago Santos

R1: They measure range until Mousasi heaves an overhand right almost a minute in. Mousasi with a step-in jab. Santos steps in between an incoming one-two to land a straight left but Mousasi continues forward with both hands whirring, stunning Santos. As Santos is covering up, Mousasi off-balances him in the clinch and looks for the rear waist cinch.

Santos works back to his feet but gets taken down by an outside trip, and Mousasi lands in side mount. Mousasi goes knee-on-belly but it allows Santos to trap a leg in half guard. Now Santos regains full guard and angles his hips for a submission attempt but Mousasi steps back to avoid it, then drills Santos with a clean uppercut and left hook as he’s getting up. And that’s that.

  • Gegard Mousasi defeats Thiago Santos by KO (punches) R1 4:32

Takanori Gomi vs. Jim Miller

R1: Gomi paws with a few probing jabs. Miller catches a left round kick and takes Gomi down, then mystically appears on his back with both hooks in an instant later. Miller goes to the body triangle and rolls the turtled Gomi over, now fishing aggressively for the choke. Gomi goes two-on-one to peel an arm away but Miller stays in back control, then discharges a nasty salvo of left hands to get the stoppage.

  • Jim Miller defeats Takanori Gomi by TKO (punches) R1 2:18
