The UFC and WWE insist they don’t see each other as competition, but it’s more and more clear that crossover between the two is going to continue. This was never more true than when Ronda Rousey made an appearance at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, entering the ring to beat up Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
McMahon, who is an executive with the company, has stated multiple times that they’d love to bring Rousey in for a longer run. But that was when Ronda was flying high as one of the biggest stars in the history of MMA. Now that she’s lost in rough fashion twice in a row, her star power could have taken a hit and she might have been viewed as less desirable.
That doesn’t seem to be the case though.
On ESPN’s His and Hers podcast, Steph made it clear that they’d still love to have the big pro wrestling fan:
“I would love to add Ronda Rousey! I know that she loves WWE and we certainly love her, so it would be a match, no pun intended, made in heaven. So hopefully one day we’ll have that opportunity.”

She did say that the company hasn’t talked to her in a while, but this is pro wrestling so that could be a diversion. With WrestleMania 33 coming up this weekend, there are few guest stars that could make a bigger splash than a second appearance by Rousey. It doesn’t seem likely, but who knows?
