Two-time world champion Marcos Maidana, has confirmed his attendance at the famed ‘Box Fan Expo’, which will take place on Saturday, May 6 at the ‘Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Pride of Argentina will share a special day with fans and others Boxers during the ‘Cinco De Mayo’ weekend, which coincides with the mega-fight between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez.
Marcos will participate for the first time in the event signing gloves, photos and boxing articles. Boxing fans will also have a great opportunity to take pictures with “El Chino”.
Marcos competed from 2004 to 2014, providing thrills and spills, plus “Excitamente!” He was world champion in two weight categories.. His two fights with Floyd Mayweather, Jr propelled him to the superstar league of professional boxing, earning everyone’s respect for his tough, uncompromising fighting style, yet kindness and humility outside the ring.
Other boxers and personalities who will attend are: Thomas “Tommy” Hearns, Marco Antonio Barrera, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Al Bernstein, Jessie Vargas, Fernando Vargas, Kronk Boxing, CMB, Christy Martin, Mia St.John, Joel Casamayor and Mayweather Promotions.
