ESMERALDA MORENO PRESENTED WITH THE NEW FEMALE WBC BELT

New WBC light flyweight world champion Esmeralda Moreno arrived to the WBC meeting, at the  Zona Rosa to receive President Mauricio Sulaimán, the belt she won last Saturday in a dramatic fight against Ibeth Zamora .

Esmeralda reigned in the division, but had to vacate the crown due to the maternity, so she’s thrilled to have  conquered it…all over again.
Esmeralda recognized and praised  Ibeth’s bravery, experience and warrior will, as an excellent fighter but especially a great friend.

It should be noted that Esmeralda was presented with the new WBC Female Championship belt,  of which is the same size as the men’s belt but with a pink  decoration  around the main plaque.

With this victory Esmeralda not only recovers her crown,  but also earns  herself a place as a finalist In the WBC Diamond belt Tournament, against the winner of the duel Ana Arrazola Vs. Kika Chávez.
