World class fighter Marco Antonio Periban is in a tough fight this Saturday, when he seeks to conquer the WBC International super middleweight belt against unbeaten Turkish Avni “Mr. Robot “Yildiri at Zapopan, Jalisco.
Yildirim, 25, who has conquered the Intercontinental, Eurasia-Pacific and International World Boxing Council titles in the super middleweight division, is currently ranked 3rd in the prestigious body.
“Mr. Robot” who has won 10 of his 15 wins by way of knockout has fought many times abroad. He has fought in places like United States, Germany and Italy, bit this time he will be fighting in Mexico.
Both boxers successfully passed the 7-day pre-weighing ordered by the WBC, in order to protect the integrity of the fighters and avoid excessive dehydration.
Periban tipped 172.8 pounds (78.4 kilograms), while Yildirim came in at 176 pounds (79.8 kilograms).
