Filipino Edward Heno once acquired the vacant OPBF light-flyweight belt (recently renounced by WBC titleholder-to-be Shiro Ken) by a majority decision (115-113, 115-112, 114-114) over Japanese local favorite Seita Ogido on Sunday (May 21) in Okinawa, Japan, but it was reversed to a majority draw (114-114 twice, 115-112) on the next day and the OPBF belt will remain vacant. After the reversed verdict, Heno is still unbeaten, 10-0-5, 4 KOs and Ogido 11-2-3, 3 KOs.

We, Japanese people, have been proud of our quick and accurate calculation due to our traditional education. When you visit Japan, you may feel comfortable in shopping to see every salesclerk or shop assistant quickly calculate the amount that you must pay and the change that you will get back. Our pride and privilege are gone with this incident in Okinawa, which had never happened before.

Now that the OPBF 108-pound belt was left vacant, there will be a title bout between them with the vacant championship on the line in the near future.
