Evan Dunham is looking for a fight booking, so he’s going about it the old-fashioned way – calling guys out on Twitter. And who better to call out than a guy that has been calling everyone else out lately? Dunham took to his social media account and sent out a few tweets chirping everyone’s favorite lightweight – Al Iaquinta. He even called him a “whiny b-itch”.
Top ten is all booked up @ALIAQUINTA let’s fight to see who really deserves a top ten shot. Only makes sense #13vs#11 @seanshelby @danawhite
Who has @ALIAQUINTA beat 2 deserve top ten? 3 out of your last five fights are the same guys I beat. Running your month is all you have done
Lol who still calls someone a dork. @ALIAQUINTA now your calling out a guy that is 1-4 in his last five fights. Sounds like you are dodging
Everyone is tired of hearing you bitch about $ @ALIAQUINTA Its’ time to fight & I am the only fight you got. #UFCAuckland#ufc @danawhite
. @ALIAQUINTA no response? I guess you are looking for the easy way to the top. Bitch till you get what you want. #UFCAuckland #ufc
. @ALIAQUINTA calling out #2 & #14 but avoiding the fight that makes the most sense. Earn your way into the top ten don’t talk your way in.
Dunham (18-6. 11-6 UFC) is on a four-fight winning streak, with the last coming over Rick Glenn in December. The four-time Fight of the Night winner currently sits at 13 in the official UFC lightweight rankings, as you can see above.
Iaquinta (13-3-1, 8-2 UFC) is coming off a knockout win over Diego Sanchez in April on a Fight Night card in Nashville. He was very outspoken about not winning a performance bonus for his effort, going after Dana White and the UFC itself in a series of tweets. It came out later that Iaquinta was actually on a “bonus ban” due to his actions in 2015.
