Ramirez beats Bone in Las Vegas

Unbeaten rising junior welterweight Eddie Ramirez (17-0, 11 KOs) scored a ten round split decision over Erick Bone (16-5, 8 KOs) on Tuesday night at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas. Scores were 97-93, 97-93 for Ramirez, 97-93 for Bone.

In a clash of unbeaten featherweight prospects, Xavier Martinez (8-0, 4 KOs) shut down Prince Smalls (11-1-1, 4 KOs) over eight. Scores were 80-71 across the board.

Junior welterweight prospect Dennis Galarza (16-2, 9 KOs) outpointed Omar Tienda (18-5, 11 KOs) over ten by scores of 98-91, 99-90, 100-89. Tienda was docked a point for throwing Galarza to the canvas in round nine.
