OHARA DAVIES’ SECOND DEFENCE OF WBC SILVER BELT

Britain’s silver super-lightweight champion Ohara Davies (15-0-0, 12 KO’S) will make the second defense of his crown on July 8 at the Braehead Arena in the United Kingdom against his compatriot Josh Taylor (9-0-0.8 KO’S), who’s also unbeaten.

Davies won the silver title by defeating Andrea Scarpa of Italy in a major match that took place in London. He defended his silver belt for the first time by defeating Derry Mathews by knockout in the third round.

Taylor, is currently the British super lightweight champion and in his most recent bout, he knocked out Warren Joubert.
