NARIS SINGWANCHA CONTINUES SUPPORT TO PINOY BOXERS

BOXING philanthropist Naris Singwancha of Thailand has continued to give his full support to the Filipino professional boxers here in the Philippines.
“Yes, I still want to help Filipino boxers,” said Singwancha during the championship fight of his boxer Rey “Hitman” Loreto of Davao City against WBA world minimumweight champion Thammanoon Niyomtrong of Thailand last July 15 in Chonburi.
Loreto, who dropped a unanimous decision to Niyomtrong, is not the only Pinoy boxer under Singwancha’s name.
He also supports Rey Megrino, Ryan Lumacad and 10 others at the Naris-RWS Boxing Gym in Labangal, Cebu City.
“It’s a team-up with Rex “Wakee” Salud,” said matchmaker Manuel Flores.
The boxers at Naris-RWS Gym are former world champion Marlon “Nightmare” Tapales, Neiljohn Tabanao, Joey Canoy, Ardie Boyose, Marco Demecillo, Adones Aguelo, Romnick Magos, Elias Joaquino, Melmark Dignos and Anthony Sabalde.
“They are all rated boxers,” said Flores.
Brix Flores is the Head Coach and his assistants are Boggie Delada and Fernando Ocon.
Singwancha said that he has been giving them a monthly financial support of $1,200.
“I always give them in advance so that there will be no problem,” said Singwancha, who also helped promote the boxers in Cebu.
Singwancha also helped the construction of the boxing gym which has seven rooms for the boxers.
It has four rooms in the first floor and three on the second.
“I just love the sport and want to help the boxers,” said Singwancha, who never ask for his share of the boxer’s purse.
Singwancha even gives a cash bonus every time his boxer will score a knockout victory.
