World Boxing Council lightweight champion Mikey Garcia will clash against former four divisions world champ Adrien Broner on July 29th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and to add peppery spice to all that’s nice, the WBC Diamond belt will be at stake.
In Broner’s most recent fight in his hometown of Cincinnati, he defeated Adrian Granados. He commented, “I’m doing a great training camp. I’m going to show my quality to everyone who does not believe in me!”
For his part Mickey, comes from conquering the WBC lightweight title, with an impressive knockout over former champion Dejan Zlaticanin. He smiled: “Actually, 140 pounds is a very good weight for me. We have felt great in training and we are ready to have a great fight on July 29th.”
