Friday night is “Bath Night,” as double Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields brazenly challenges Germany’s World Boxing Council’s super middleweight champion Nikki Adler, in “Motor City” Detroit, in an extravaganza presented by Salita Promotions.
World champion Nikki Adler will have her first bout on North American soil. Nikki has fashioned her magnificent career in Europe where she has superbly maintained an unbeaten record of sixteen fights.
This will be the first precocious chance to win a world crown for Shields in just her fourth professional fight! Talented Claressa has already thrown down the gauntlet by winning the NABF and Silver titles of the WBC.
Both female warriors have already punctually sent to the offices of the WBC, the necessary and required documentation, including medical examinations plus 30 and 7 days pre weigh in stipulations. These special requirements have the main goal of protecting the well being and integrity of the fighters, by monitoring their gradual, responsible and safe weight loss plus constant medical check ups. Well done Ladies!
