LOMACHENKO-RIGONDEAUX NEARLY DONE FOR DECEMBER 9 AT MSG?

Boxingtalk has been informed that pound for pound Picasso Vasyl “Hi-Tech” Lomachenko will return to the ring on December 9 against fellow pound for pounder and two time Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux. If the first fight in the history of boxing between two time gold medalists is finalized it will take place at the theater in Madison Square Garden, where Top Rank already has a hold on the date. If for some reason the Rigondeaux fight isn’t finalized, expect Lomachneko to face Orlando Salido on the same date, but in a different venue. Both Egis Klimas and Bob Arum were unavailable for immediate comment.
