SUPERMAN`S “BOON” REPLACED BY BOOM!

World Boxing Council Light heavyweight world champion, Haitian-Canadian, Adonis “Superman” Stevenson,  defends  his crown for the 7 th time, against American challenger, Thomas Williams Jr, this Friday at the Videotron in Quebec.

The fight is presented by GYM Promotions and Premier Boxing Champions and will be broadcast via  Spike TV in the USA and through Indigo to Canada.

“Superman”  has established himself as a  “Boy Wonder.”   He won the WBC title defeating American Chad Dawson in June 2013, within a single round, and since then he has defeated Tavoris Cloud, Tony Bellew, Andrzej Fonfara, Dmitry Sukhotsky, Sakio Bika and Tommy Karpency.

After 6 defenses, Stevenson´s record is  27-1, with 22  KO´s. He suffered his unique defeat against Darnell Boone, 7 years ago, defeating him In a rematch.  Williams, aged 28, will have his first title opportunity. He has a record of 20-1, with 14 KO´s.

A couple of years ago, he lost his undefeated record to Gabriel Campillo,  but bounced back with 3 straight victories against Michael Gbenga, Umberto Savigne and Edwin Rodríguez.
