ESTRADA VS CUADRAS- A DICKENS OF A FIGHT CAUSING GREAT EXPECTATIONS

The fight between  Mexican warriors Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada and Carlos “Príncipe” Cuadras has caused so much expectation and simmering anticipation, with bold predictions, amusing yet cruel jibes and KO vows!  .

Estrada and Cuadras dash to clash on September 9 in the Stub Hub Center of Carson, California, much to the delight of fight fans.  Estrada (35-2-0, 25 ko’s) and Cuadras (36-1-1, 27 ko’s) are refreshed, enmeshed and embattled in a WBC super flyweight elimination bout.

Although each has lost to: “Our mutual friend, ” Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, by decision, both “Gallo” and “Prince” showed great boxing skills, power, courage and the ability to sustain a truly classic fight.  Estrada will arrive in this fight with a nine-game winning streak, while Cuadras comes from beating David Carmona on points in New York six months ago.

“Gallo” has defeated five world champions (Hernán Márquez, Giovani Segura, Milan Melindo, Brian Viloria, Juan Carlos Sánchez), Cuadras to three (Koki Eto, Luis Concepción and Sor Rungvisai). Estrada has won  25 of his total 35 bouts by KO, having a KO ratio of 71%. Cuadras on the other side has knocked out 27 of 36 rivals having a 75% KO Ratio.

Both are 1.63 meters and have 1.68 meters of range. Estrada is 27 years old, and Cuadras 29.

The fight appears very even on the paper and once the blue touch paper is lit, it could well crackle and fizz  complicated for both.  Bold initiative fuelled by gruelling Incentive is the unlocking key,  as the  winner, will take on whoever is victorious between Sor Rungvisai vs. “Chocolatito” , with the WBC super flyweight title on the line.
