NONITO DONAIRE VS RUBEN GARCÍA FOR WBC SILVER BELT

Mexican boxer Ruben Garcia will have the opportunity to contest  the vacant WBC silver featherweight championship in the most important fight of his career against the legendary Filipino Nonito Donaire, on September 23 at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas

Garcia has trained hard for the most difficult  challenge of his career. He has won the amateur Golden Gloves tournament, and for then starting his pro career in Yucatan and later in the States United States, Germany and the Dominican Republic, where he has fought with success. He’s built a creditable  professional record of 25 fights with 22 KO´s , 2 defeats and a draw.

Donaire  is already a legend in the  Philippines’ just behind Manny Pacquiao. He has a record with  41 fights, 37victories , 24 KO´s and 4 defeats,

He has fought the most brilliant best, including:  Vic Darchinyan, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Nicholas Walters, Fernando Montiel, Omar Narváez, Jorge “Travieso” Arce and Hernán “Tyson” Márquez.
