Joshua-Pulev must’ve been an anxiously awaited fight because it just sold 70,000 tickets at a scintillating pace. The fight, which will be held at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, has already become the fastest selling sporting event in the stadium’s history.
“It was another incredible day at the box office for Anthony Joshua as he continues to cement his place as the biggest draw in World boxing,” said promoter Eddie Hearn.
“The support he receives from the British public is incredible and has been an integral part of his success – the fans will be in for a great night on October 28 and we thank them all for their support.”
In the October 28th fight Anthony Joshua will attempt to secure his 20th win in as many fights, all by knockout. He’ll also be defending his unified IBF and WBA world titles against a man, Kubrat Pulev, who has only ever lost to Wladimir Klitschko.
