Here’s the official fight poster for the big UFC 217 pay-per-view in New York.
Exactly one month from today, the UFC will make its return to New York’s Madison Square Garden for a stacked tripleheader of championship fights. Up first is the women’s strawweight title bout between champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas, followed by the men’s bantamweight co-main event showdown between reigning titleholder Cody Garbrandtand ex-champ T.J. Dillashaw, then the UFC 217 main event pits middleweight championMichael Bisping against legendary ex-welterweight king Georges St-Pierre.
As we draw closer to another major fight night in NYC, here’s a look at the official fight poster for the November 4th pay-per-view.
Just a random observation for me: I believe this is the first time a UFC poster has referred to Joanna Jedrzecjzyk on a first-name basis.
While we’re on the topic of fight posters, the October 21st Fight Night card in Gdansk, Poland is finalized, with Donald Cerrone and Darren Till meeting in an important welterweight headliner. Former strawweight title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz will take on Jodie Esquibel in the co-main event. The entire card streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
