WBC Silver female super bantamweight champion, Aussie Shannon O´Connell, aged 33, who`s built a record of 12 victories , 4 loses and 1 draw, is aiming for her thirteenth victory, defending her crown against Japan`s Kimka Miyoshi on August 13 at Melbourne Park in Victoria, Australia.
Wouldn`t you know it?! Miyoshi has a record of 13 victories, 8 loses and 1 draw in her career.
“I`ve always said it`s hard winning a title, but a lot more difficult to defend it. So I`m ready for a great fight, to defend my belt, as I welcome big challenges.”
Shannon won the title in April, after knocking out Thai Anrey Onesongchaigym in the 6th round.
