World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Luis Nery stays busy, by returning to the ring on Saturday at Gasmart Stadium, Tijuana; this Saturday evening, with a fight which will be broadcast via TV AZTECA.
Luis faced a doping process when he tested positive for zilpaterol, a substance similar to clenbuterol. After a thorough investigation by the World Boxing Council, it was concluded that the intake of zilpaterol was due to the consumption of contaminated meat.
For this reason an immediate rematch has been ordered against the Japan’s Shinsuke Yamanaka, if he defeats Arthur Villanueva, this weekend.
Luis Nery commented: “It’s a joy to fight in Tijuana. It was always my dream to fight in front my people and I will be granted this Saturday. I’ve always been a clean fighter and I appreciate that people keep supporting me. I promise all the fans they will see a great fight. ”
